Google Ad Sense is when a web site owner opens an account with Google to place advertisement on their web site. When a person clicks this advertisement, the web site owner gets an average commission of .45 cents. A web site that gets a lot of traffic, they can easily make $150,000 per month.

There are message boards claiming to be informing the http://forum.clickaider.com/index.php?t=post&frm_id=2&am p;S=677997d63ff183058e47c7aa48655ac2public about scams being done by companies or individuals. These web sites have individuals working for them for the sole purpose of targeting companies or individuals in order to generate traffic to the web site. This method is artificially generating traffic to the web site, this is FRAUD as outlined by Google. The higher the traffic, the higher the percentage of individuals that will click onto the Google advertisements.

Additionally, Individuals post copy right information about a company on these types of web sites; this is against the policy of the Google Ad Sense program.

If you believe that you are being targeted by individuals on a particular web site; simply click the Ads by Google in the bottom right hand corner of the advertisement on the web site. You will be taken to a Google page, click onto: Report a policy violation regarding the site or ads you just saw

File a report and the Google Fraud Department will investigate

Hi,

I checked my stats today and found that there is 1 click from my ip address. I don't remember clicking on any ads on my page.

Is there a chance for such false click to be recorded? thanks

This is how you add the clickaider code to your wordpress blog.

1. Login to your wordpress control panel.

2. From the main dashboard of the wordpress control panel select on the design button which can be see bellow.

3. Once you have done that click on the Theme Editor as shown in the image bellow.

4. When you have done that you will be taked to the editor. On the right hand side of that section you will see a list of files. Click on the footer.php file as seen in the image bellow.

5. When you have done that in the code window to the left scroll down until you find the </body> tag and add your clickaider code imediatly befor that tag. See bellow for an example.

6. The only thing to do after you have properly added the code is to click update file.

Clickaider has been reporting people coming from Colombia to my site, as Japan.

If a filter by country, it shows Japan.
But all those IP whois show Colombia (they also come from google.com.co)

Why is that? Confused
